The Series 10 exam is for persons who are required to be registered as principals and whose responsibilities are limited to sales supervision as branch office managers in member firms. This course covers regulation of options. (Formerly Series 8, Part I)

 About the S10

 

The series 10 (formerly called the series 8 part 2) is required of individuals who supervise sales activities in corporate securities, municipal bonds, U.S. Government securities, options, direct participation programs, investment company products, and variable contracts.  The series 24 does not substitute for the series 10.  The series 10 does not qualify an individual to supervise other functions besides sales.

Prerequisite:  Series 7

The Series 10 test is made up of 145 questions.  Each student will be given a total of 4 hours for the exam.
