Long Island Real Estate Training
L.I. Real Estate Training (LIRET) is approved by the Department of State to offer New York Real Estate Salesperson's and Broker's Licensing and Continuing Education Courses.
To qualify for a New York Real Estate Salesperson's License, students must do the following:
The 75-hour Real Estate Salesperson's Pre-Qualifying Course offered by L.I. Real Estate Training (LIRET) is approved by the NY Department of State, and is a prerequisite for persons who wish to obtain a New York Real Estate Salesperson's License. The course is also open to students who wish to acquire general real estate knowledge and strategies for buying and selling their own homes, but do not wish to apply for a license. Topics include: License law, contract law, leases, landlord/tenant issues, finance, valuation and appraising real estate, deeds, environmental concerns, closing and closing costs, and much, much more. # Sessions: 20 Evenings
Textbook: A separate textbook fee of $45 will be collected by L.I. Real Estate Training instructors at the first class meeting and textbooks will be distributed at that time.
